We are seeking an experienced Epic Senior Advisor to join our Clinical System and Informatics (CSI) team, playing a pivotal role in supporting and optimising our Epic Health Information System (HIS). Key Responsibilities for Epic System Optimisation
As an Epic Senior Advisor within THP's Clinical System and Informatics department, this role demands a professional with deep technical expertise and a passion for enhancing clinical workflows. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the design, build, testing, and implementation of Epic applications, ensuring they align seamlessly with intricate hospital processes. A significant part of this experience involves acting as a subject matter expert, leveraging multiple Epic certifications to provide advanced guidance to both technical and clinical teams. You will collaborate closely with various business partners and clinical staff, analysing operational needs to configure Epic systems effectively and inform critical workflow decisions. This position is vital for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, ensuring the continuous functionality of Epic applications that are central to patient care across Trillium Health Partners. Essential Qualifications and Your Impact at THP
To excel in this Senior Advisor role, candidates must possess a minimum of two years of hospital clinical and/or hospital information systems experience, complemented by over four years of dedicated experience in configuring and supporting Epic systems within a dynamic healthcare setting. Essential certifications in Epic Grand Central and Cadence are required, demonstrating a foundational understanding crucial for this position. This role calls for a strong background in EHR support, implementation, and optimisation, along with a proven ability to analyse, test, and configure complex clinical systems.
