<h3>Key Responsibilities and Impact on Health Care Delivery</h3>
<p>The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a comprehensive range of maintenance duties throughout Trillium Health Partners' hospital facilities. This includes adhering strictly to established policies, procedures, and all legislated codes and regulations to uphold a safe and compliant health care environment. Your expertise will directly support the continuous operation of critical systems, ensuring that our patients receive uninterrupted care and our staff have optimal working conditions. The ability to promptly diagnose and repair plumbing issues is paramount, contributing directly to the comfort and safety of all individuals within our various health centres, including the Reactivation Care Centre. This role requires a strong commitment to preventative maintenance and responsive problem-solving, both of which are essential for the effective delivery of our extensive health services.</p>
<h3>Desired Skills, Qualifications, and Our Commitment</h3>
<p>We are seeking an individual with a minimum Grade 12 education and a current Province of Ontario Skilled Trade license in Plumbing, or an equivalent qualification. Completion of an Apprenticeship program is required, alongside a proven ability to make sound decisions regarding material usage and repair methodologies. Candidates should possess flexibility to work various shifts, including occasional weekends and on-call hours, demonstrating a strong ability to work on their own initiative while also embracing a collaborative team atmosphere. Effective communication skills and a positive work and attendance record are essential for success in our dynamic health care setting.
