Key Responsibilities

As a Produce Stocker, you will be responsible for zoning the department and rotating stock, meticulously checking for expired products. You will ensure all merchandise is properly signed and priced, adhering strictly to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates. Adherence to food safety and handling procedures, along with following sanitation and cleaning protocols, is crucial. You will also follow proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, and all aspects of signing, flagging, pricing, and labelling. Ensuring the department is fully stocked and ready for business is a primary duty, alongside following all Health and Safety guidelines. This role involves stocking merchandise, performing downstocking where applicable, applying product protection when required, and setting and completing modulars, including flex modulars and new shelf capacities.
