About the Role

As a General Merchandise Associate at Walmart Canada in Slave Lake, Alberta, you will play a key part in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the general merchandise area. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the dynamic retail industry.

Key Responsibilities

You will provide excellent customer service by warmly greeting customers, assisting them with product inquiries, locating merchandise, and helping with purchase decisions. Resolving customer issues and referring concerns when appropriate are also important aspects of this role.

Maintaining your assigned sales floor area, including zoning and moving feature merchandise, is crucial. You will also assist with stocking new merchandise, downstocking, applying product protection, and setting up new modulars and shelf caps. Additionally, you may support the Front End and help with recovery merchandise from the Customer Service desk, all while ensuring a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment.
