About the Role
Working as an OMNI Customer Fulfillment Associate at Walmart Canada is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in the retail industry. This part-time role involves picking, packing, and dispensing online orders, ensuring high-quality standards and accuracy while adhering to strict safety and food hygiene standards to achieve customer satisfaction and loyalty. The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $17.75.
Your Responsibilities
Efficiently pick and assemble orders from various temperature areas, focusing on care and quality for on-time customer delivery. Pack orders with meticulous attention to detail, accurately distinguishing between similar products, ensuring correct quantities, and verifying product codes. Guarantee that all products picked are of the highest quality, free from damage, and represent the freshest selection available. Accurately document and label all orders by correctly interpreting and understanding relevant paperwork, including pick slips, packaging details, and shipping labels. Optimise tote fill by packing orders efficiently while consistently maintaining product quality standards. Balance fulfillment duties with positive customer interaction, providing excellent service and supporting issue resolution. Maintain strict adherence to safety and food hygiene standards, including keeping a clean and hygienic work area, immediately cleaning spills and debris, and ensuring all totes are clean before packing. Safely operate material handling equipment, completing all safety pre-inspection checks before use. Exhibit behaviours that align with the organization's mission and core values. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting enhancements to operational procedures, productivity standards, customer satisfaction, safety, working conditions, and quality standards. Demonstrate flexibility in completing and adjusting to work assignments based on customer requests and daily delivery schedules.
