Key Responsibilities and Expertise

The successful Pipeline Geohazard Specialist will be instrumental in the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of the Pipeline Geohazard Management Program. This includes maintaining a comprehensive inventory of hydrotechnical and geotechnical hazard sites through diligent inspections, investigations, monitoring, maintenance, and mitigation activities. A core responsibility involves performing risk-based pipeline geohazard assessments and developing site-specific risk management plans, which include providing expert recommendations for inspections, monitoring strategies, and effective mitigation measures. Collaboration with Asset Integrity, Production, and Operations teams is crucial for establishing integrity budgets, prioritizing geohazard projects, and managing associated costs, schedules, and resources efficiently.
