The successful candidate will be responsible for providing client-centred physiotherapy services, primarily for patients recovering from post-operative orthopaedic surgery, with a focus on hip and knee joint replacements. This crucial role involves comprehensive physiotherapy assessment, the development and implementation of goal-oriented treatment interventions, and providing essential education and support to clients and their families. As a Physiotherapist at Trillium Health Partners, you will act as a coach, mentor, and consultant, utilising sound critical thinking skills to achieve optimal client outcomes and foster effective team functions. Your expertise in delivering high-quality care will directly contribute to enhancing the health and mobility of patients throughout their recovery journey within the hospital setting.
To excel in this Physiotherapist position, candidates must be registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and maintain good standing. The ideal professional will possess demonstrated experience in the management of post-operative orthopaedic injuries and conditions within an acute in-patient setting, particularly with hip and knee replacements. We are seeking a reliable, flexible, and self-directed professional who can work effectively and collaboratively within a high-performance team, as well as with families and community partners. Evidence of continuing education and professional development is highly valued, reflecting a commitment to ongoing learning in the field of physiotherapy.
