Part-Time Asset Protection Associate, Cambridge, ON

About the Role

As a Part-Time Asset Protection Associate in Cambridge, Ontario, you will play a crucial role in creating and maintaining a secure and effective work environment for all customers, associates, visitors, and vendors. You will always demonstrate positive and professional behaviour while working to increase profitability and mitigate shrink caused by financial and physical loss.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include ensuring store security through daily patrols of the facility, validating that doors and showcases are secure and functioning properly. You will be required to make external arrests when necessary. You will investigate instances of financial and physical shrink, communicating findings to Store Leadership and, in internal cases, to the Market Loss Prevention Manager. Supporting store evacuation procedures in case of fire or other emergencies is also a key part of the role. You will participate in store task team responsibilities as required and conduct or support investigations, including those related to internal theft, external organized retail crime, and cases assigned through Walmart Canada Global Ethics, ensuring they are timely and thorough and adhere to Walmart Canada policies. Effective communication is essential, requiring you to clarify issues for others and present different perspectives. Other responsibilities may be added as the needs and requirements of the Company increase.

Requirements

To qualify for this position, you must be 16 years of age or older. A valid Security Guard Licence is a mandatory requirement for this role.

Compensation

The minimum rate of pay for this Part-Time Asset Protection Associate position starts from $19.35 per hour.
