What you'll do

In this virtual occupational therapy role, you will deliver essential care and support directly to clients remotely, collaborating closely with caregivers to develop effective intervention plans.

• Provide occupational therapy services virtually
• Conduct occupational therapy assessments using interviews, standardized tools, and informal assessment techniques
• Develop and implement evidence-based intervention plans in collaboration with clients and caregivers
• Assign, supervise, and monitor occupational therapy assistants as appropriate
• Maintain accurate, timely, and professional documentation, including assessment findings, care plans, progress and discharge summaries, and reports aligned with referral source requirements and COTO standards

What you'll bring

To succeed in providing quality care in these Spectrum Health Care jobs Durham, applicants must meet specific professional and technical qualifications.

• Registration in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO)
• 1 - 2 years in-home community experience is required
• 1 - 2 years experience is an asset, but new graduates are welcome
• Proficiency with computer applications, including MS Office Suite and proprietary clinical software
