Merchandising Execution Associates (MEAs) are crucial to enhancing the customer experience by performing vital in-store merchandising service activities. This includes executing merchandising projects, maintaining planograms, organizing overhead spaces, and ensuring displays and signage are impeccable. MEAs play a key role in implementing our merchandising strategies, ensuring products are displayed correctly to drive sales and maximize inventory turns within the store.

Minimum requirements include a GED or Highschool Diploma or Equivalent, along with 1 year of relevant working experience.

What You'll Do

As a Merchandising Execution Associate (MEA), you will work in teams under the supervision of a Merchandising Execution Supervisor (MEAS), providing service to multiple departments. Your responsibilities will include executing general bay service, tasking, projects, and resets safely, accurately, and efficiently. You will also build and maintain strong relationships with store associates and provide superior customer service.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Read and interpret directions to ensure merchandise is set to the planogram, project instructions, program service requirements, and general service guidelines.
• Straighten, clean, and merchandise product to ensure it is presented in a visually appealing manner.
• Maintain a copy of the most recent planogram inside the upright beam adjacent to the product set.
• Build displays and fixtures using basic hand tools.
• Maintain, order, and install display material, signage, and brochures.
• Follow directions and processes to conduct accurate price and label changes, replacing incorrect, damaged, or missing price labels.
• Maintain aisle cleanliness and organization.
• Utilize store systems to access key merchandising reports, reading, interpreting, and executing actions based on findings.
• Maintain bay service records and other documentation as directed.
• Execute one-off projects as required by store, district, and regional leadership.

Customer Service duties include:

• Maintain aisle cleanliness so that merchandise is accessible and customers are able to move throughout the aisles easily.
• Partner with store leadership to markdown all damaged or unsellable merchandise.
• Answer questions regarding the store and products for customers.
• Partner with store associates to find necessary products to fit customer needs.

Other duties include partnering with a store representative to conduct inspections of returned and damaged items for Return to Vendor, following standard operating and safety procedures, and completing assigned training curriculum.

While there are no travel requirements, the physical demands of the job include bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving items. You will be working within a flexible schedule that typically starts early in the morning, in a warehouse environment that can be dusty and noisy, with doors frequently open causing drafts and interior temperature changes.
