As a Branch Manager Trainee, you will lead a medium-sized team, fostering excellent customer conversations and positive experiences. You will provide mentorship and subject matter expertise to achieve business results while adhering to internal policies.

Your Responsibilities
Mentor the team on advice-giving strategies for banking solutions to enhance customer experience and financial confidence. Promote TD's image within the community by participating in local events.
Enhance customer experience by understanding financial needs and providing appropriate solutions. Act as the highest point of escalation for the branch, ensuring customer issues are resolved effectively.
Oversee complex branch administrative duties related to mutual funds, real estate secured credit, and compliance. Ensure optimal employee scheduling for efficient operations.
Develop and implement business development strategies within budget, communicating results to meet objectives. Ensure accuracy of all customer transactions according to TD's policies for operational excellence.
Mentor the team on offering comprehensive "One TD" solutions and building lasting customer relationships. Liaise with Wealth and Business Banking teams to stay updated on processes, emerging issues, and industry regulations.
Cultivate a positive and customer-focused work environment that promotes productivity, innovation, operational improvement, and professionalism.
What You'll Bring
An undergraduate degree and/or over five years of relevant experience are required. Completion of the Branch Compliance Officer (BCO) and IFIC or CSC Course is essential.
You should be a strategic thinker with extensive knowledge of advanced investing and credit processes, policies, programs, and systems to provide tactical direction. Proficiency in software tools including MS Office and internet applications is necessary.
Strong communication skills are vital for liaising with customers, employees, and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is a thorough and accurate decision-maker, capable of exercising discretion and judgement when handling confidential information.
This opportunity includes a mobility clause requiring you to be mobile within the assigned district. Upon completing the training program, you will be assigned to a compatible position, which may involve a transfer and geographic relocation to another TD location within your assigned region. Geographic mobility is a condition of this employment.
For Quebec only, proficiency in a language other than French is required to support or deal with clients who need services and support in a language other than French.
Compensation & Benefits
The base pay for this role ranges from $77,500 to $109,400 CAD. TD is committed to fair and equitable compensation, with opportunities for growth and skill development.
