About the Opportunity
Manulife Wealth is a prominent provider of insurance and wealth solutions, meeting the diverse needs of Canadian families. Within GWAM Canada, Manulife Wealth comprises three distribution firms, an Investment Dealer securities dealer, a Mutual Fund Dealer securities dealer, and an insurance MGA. Through these firms, we collaborate with over 2000 of Manulife's most closely aligned independent advisors across Canada.
We are seeking a Field Salesforce Consultant to join our Field Technology Services team, supporting our Salesforce Financial Services Cloud offering within advisor practices. This is a client-facing consulting role focused on onsite branch engagements. You will assess current-state workflows, identify gaps and adoption barriers, and recommend practical solutions across process, training, and platform usage.
In this role, you will plan and deliver in-branch workshops and hands-on coaching, aligning stakeholders on a target-state approach. You will help branches execute follow-through actions that improve productivity and consistent usage. You will also act as a conduit to our Continuous Delivery Organisation, translating onsite insights into clear requirements and prioritisation input to better align platform capabilities with the needs of financial advisors and wealth management operations.
Your Responsibilities
You will lead onsite discovery at advisor branches, conducting stakeholder interviews, workflow observation, and process mapping to assess current-state usage and identify gaps. You will develop and present branch-specific recommendations, including quick wins and longer-term actions, across process, training, and Salesforce configuration or usage to improve adoption and efficiency.
This role involves facilitating onsite enablement through workshops, role-based coaching, walkthroughs, and tailoring content to each branch’s needs. You will define engagement outcomes with branch stakeholders, including adoption goals, success metrics, and follow-up actions, and drive accountability through post-visit check-ins.
Furthermore, you will translate onsite insights into clear requirements and user stories, partnering with the Continuous Delivery Organisation on prioritisation, solution options, and release readiness communications. You will also collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Field Technology, Operations, Compliance, and Product or Delivery teams to align engagement plans, communications, and rollout or readiness activities.
What You'll Bring
You will possess a minimum of five years of hands-on experience with the Salesforce platform. This includes at least one year of Financial Services Cloud experience and a strong understanding of wealth workflows, alongside experience supporting end users in a regulated environment.
Proven consulting and client engagement experience is essential, demonstrated by leading onsite discovery, facilitating workshops, presenting recommendations, and driving follow-through. You must be comfortable operating in a field-based role with regular travel to advisor branches, up to 40% of your time, working independently and representing the team on-site.
Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Administrator, Financial Services Cloud Accredited Professional, or Data Architect, are preferred. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are also required for this position.
