DashMart Team Member - DoorDash, Edmonton

Position summary

DashMart is a retail store made possible by doordash. Customers place an order for their favorite convenience items in the doordash app, and warehouse associates pick and pack those items inside a real, brick-and-mortar convenience store. We have morning, day, evening, weekend, and part-time hours available to suit your schedule.

Key duties

As a vital member of the team, you will handle various warehouse and customer service responsibilities each shift to ensure smooth operations.

• Picking and packing orders that come through the app and handing them off to our drivers
• Inventory and spoilage management, including stocking receivables and managing inventory shelf life
• Warehouse organization by cleaning and keeping the workspace organized
• Delighting customers by ensuring substitutions are approved with them

Qualifications

We are looking for dedicated individuals who meet specific criteria to join our technology-driven logistics environment. Note that doordash utilizes tools like covey during hiring processes for certain regions, ensuring a structured evaluation.

• You are self-motivated, positive, and a team player
• You have a proven track record of success in a retail environment
• You are able to be on your feet and handle warehouse duties including lifting up to 40 pounds with or without accommodations
• You have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
