About the Role
Join the LCBO team as a Customer Service Representative in Kinmount, Ontario, for a fixed term from May 4, 2026, to September 7, 2026. This on-site role is ideal for individuals passionate about delivering an engaging customer experience. As a friendly and helpful expert in our retail stores, you will inspire customers and share your knowledge of wine, beer, ciders, and spirits. Comprehensive paid training will cover store operations, customer service, and product knowledge.

Your Responsibilities
Reporting to the Store Manager, you will be responsible for providing a positive and memorable customer experience by serving customers promptly, courteously, and responsibly using our cash register system. You will also participate in customer experience and postal code surveys and ask for donations for our partner charities through the Spirit of Sustainability Campaign.
Key duties include receiving and replenishing products on shelves, ensuring products are faced up, and maintaining a clean, organised, and safe store environment by cleaning up spills and broken bottles. This role involves repeatedly lifting cases of various sizes and weights, up to 18 kg (40 lbs), while standing for long periods.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking individuals who are comfortable working collaboratively with teammates and directly with customers. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and legally entitled to work in Canada, holding a valid SIN, Student, or Work Permit. Successful applicants will agree to complete a Criminal Background Check at their own expense prior to commencing work. Bilingualism in English and French is considered a bonus.
You must be available to work Fridays from 5:00 PM until close, and all day Saturdays and Sundays for 4 to 8 hour shifts. Availability during Victoria Day, Canada Day, Civic Holiday, and Labour Day long weekends is also required. Additional shifts may be available Monday through Thursday based on store needs, with schedules posted two weeks in advance and potential for short-notice extra shifts.
