The LCBO is seeking dedicated Summer Customer Service Representatives to join our team in Delta, Ontario, available to work between May 4, 2026, and September 7, 2026. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about delivering an engaging customer experience, inspiring others, and sharing product knowledge to ensure our customers keep coming back.
As part of your paid training, you will gain valuable knowledge in store operations, customer service best practices, and a wide range of products including wine, beer, ciders, and spirits. This is an on-site, union role, where you will report to the Store Manager and play a key part in our retail operations.
Your responsibilities will include serving customers promptly, courteously, and responsibly using our cash register system, ensuring a positive and memorable shopping experience. You will also participate in our Spirit of Sustainability Campaign by asking for donations for partner charities, and contribute to customer experience and postal code surveys. Daily tasks involve receiving products, replenishing shelves, ensuring products are faced up, and maintaining a clean, organised, and safe store environment by cleaning spills and broken bottles. The role requires repeatedly lifting cases of various sizes and weights, up to 40 lbs (18 kg), while standing for long periods.
We are looking for individuals who are comfortable working effectively with both teammates and customers. You must be legally eligible to work in Canada, possessing a valid SIN, Student, or Work Permit, and be at least 18 years of age. Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset for this role. Successful candidates must agree to complete a Criminal Background Check, at their own expense, prior to commencing employment with the LCBO.
Required availability includes Friday evenings until close, and being available all day for 4 to 8-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays. Availability for specific long weekends, including Victoria Day, Canada Day, Civic Holiday, and Labour Day weekends, is essential. Additional work may be available during weekdays from Monday to Thursday, based on store operational needs. Schedules are typically posted two weeks in advance, and extra shifts may arise on short notice.
