About the Opportunity
The LCBO is seeking enthusiastic Seasonal Customer Service Representatives for its Brampton location. This fixed-term opportunity runs between May 4, 2026, and September 7, 2026, offering a pay rate of $20.82 per hour. We are looking for individuals passionate about delivering an engaging customer experience, inspiring others, and sharing product knowledge. This role provides paid training covering store operations, customer service, and product knowledge, including wine, beer, ciders, and spirits.
Your Responsibilities
Reporting to the Store Manager, you will provide prompt, courteous, and responsible service to customers using our cash register system, ensuring a positive and memorable experience. You will also participate in our Spirit of Sustainability Campaign by asking for donations for partner charities and assisting with customer experience and postal code surveys. Daily tasks include receiving and replenishing products on shelves, facing up products, and maintaining a clean, organised, and safe store environment. This involves cleaning up spills and broken bottles. The role requires repeatedly lifting cases of various sizes and weights, up to 18 kg (40 lbs), while standing for long periods.
What You'll Bring
Candidates must be comfortable working with both teammates and customers. You must be legally permitted to work in Canada, possessing a valid SIN, Student, or Work Permit, and be at least 18 years old. Successful applicants will agree to complete a Criminal Background Check at their own expense before commencing work with the LCBO. Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset.
Required availability includes Fridays from 5:00 PM to close, and Saturdays and Sundays for 4 to 8-hour shifts, available all day. You must also be available to work during long weekends, specifically Victoria Day, Canada Day, Civic Holiday, and Labour Day weekends. Additional work may be available Monday through Thursday based on store needs, with schedules posted two weeks in advance. Extra shifts may also arise on short notice.
