Skills and Experience for Success
To succeed in this Business Quality Analyst role, candidates must bring demonstrated quality assurance testing or BQA experience. A strong background working in an agile environment or methodology, including familiarity with deployment tools such as GIT, DevOps pipeline, JIRA, and Confluence, is essential. Proficiency in various development techniques, including debugging, testing, coding, documentation, and the use of productivity tools, will be critical. The role requires experience with security and environment control systems like Endevor and ACF2, as well as database management systems such as IMS, DB2, VSAM, and Informix. Expertise in AIX/UNIX command line operations and shell script programming is a mandatory technical requirement. Some experience in mainframe development, including complex programmes using Cobol, JCL, IMS DB, DB2, VSAM, CA7, SAS, and Netron, will be highly valued.
