Key Responsibilities and Qualifications

The Utility Maintenance Worker II is primarily responsible for the operational, janitorial, and minor maintenance of ice rink facilities under the Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation. This includes functions related to the operation and service of ice arena surfaces, refrigeration plants, and all related maintenance and equipment. Specific duties encompass performing and coordinating routine janitorial tasks, such as cleaning change rooms and washrooms, washing and waxing floors, replenishing supplies, and collecting refuse.
