Key duties

As a Supervisor, Service & Entertainment, you will be responsible for a wide range of operational and client-facing tasks, ensuring des expériences mémorables pour tous. Your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the execution of all Group and Event activities, ensuring impeccable client service.
• Ensuring the smooth operation of games, retail, and coat check areas, and communicating any necessary corrections to staff and management to enhance client service.
• Striving to achieve sales objectives while adhering to established budgets during daily operations.
• Completing all daily, weekly, and monthly checklists in accordance with internal and external (regulatory body) requirements.
• Providing training and development to staff members within their respective departments (bar, dining, front desk/call centre, entertainment, events, and shows).
• Ensuring the flawless execution of all game-related activities to maximize financial gains while maintaining reasonable costs.
• Maintaining accurate payroll and attendance records in compliance with legislative and The Rec Room requirements.
• Adhering to all provincial legislative requirements concerning health, food safety, and alcohol service.
• Performing any other tasks that may be assigned to vous.

Qualifications

This role is ideal pour vous if you possess a strong background in hospitality and a passion for divertissement. We are looking for someone who can lead with excellence and contribute to a dynamic environment.

• 1 to 3 years of supervisory experience within the food service, retail, or entertainment industry.
• Previous experience in staff training (considered an asset).
• Availability to work variable hours, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
• Demonstrated excellent leadership, communication, client service, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food service industry standards, practices, and technical specifics.
• Possession of a provincially applicable certification for alcohol sales, resale, and handling.
