Your Impact as an Amusement Host

As an Hourly Player, Front of House at The Rec Room, you are a vital part of the team, dedicated to providing an exceptional entertainment experience for every guest. You'll be the expert on gaming within the facility, operating all major attractions and curating the gaming experience for both seasoned and new players. • Upselling games by showing guests game operations, encouraging guests to play, and creating an overall fun, playful environment for them.
• Upselling retail items as well as prizing and helping the guest understand how the product functions.
• Cash handling and processing transactions in accordance with The Rec Room’s standards and cash handling procedures.
• Ensuring both games and individual stations are clean, well-maintained, and fully operational, and assisting with restocking the Store.
• Being a trusted resource for guests’ inquiries and concerns and having a working knowledge of the venue’s pricing for special events, promotions, and daily events.
• Delivering exceptional service to guests.
• Setting up and tearing down for functions, events, and activities.

Requirements for This Role

This Hourly Amusement Host position at The Rec Room in Edmonton is an ideal fit for individuals who meet the following qualifications and possess the listed skills:

• For licensed venues, candidates must be the required age of majority or older.
• Preferably some experience with customer service.
• Ability to complete tasks with attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Provincially applicable sell, sale, and handling of alcohol certificate.
