About the Role

You will own and oversee the end-to-end SAM remediation and issue-management delivery model, including discovery-related issues, data quality remediation, and prohibited software management. Your responsibilities extend to ensuring effective remediation of discovery, data quality, and compliance risks, maintaining a strong enterprise audit and compliance posture. The role involves partnering with various SAM teams, Other IT, Security, and Business stakeholders to drive successful outcomes. Furthermore, you will be responsible for reporting on operational performance, risk reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives, acting as an escalation point for audits, operational risks, and stakeholder issues. Proven experience leading SAM or other technology remediation activities is required, including expertise in discovery and data quality issue resolution, non-compliance technology remediation, and audit and risk response support. A strong understanding of SAM operating models is crucial, with clear distinctions between remediation and operational execution, and other functions like license reconciliation and entitlement management. Hands-on experience with enterprise SAM platforms, such as ServiceNow SAM Pro or an equivalent, is necessary to support operational issue tracking and remediation. Strong knowledge of IT service management practices, including incident, problem, and task management workflows, is also expected. The ability to partner effectively with IT Operations, CMDB, Security, Procurement, and Business stakeholders is vital, alongside strong analytical, prioritization, and decision-making skills to manage competing operational risks.
