As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be a pivotal member of the Corporate Business Data team, leading the design and development of advanced solutions that drive data-informed decision-making across ICP’s operations. Reporting directly to the Business Data Manager, you will take a lead role in collaborating with our manufacturing facilities to architect sophisticated reporting and analytics solutions using data from machine sensors and production systems to drive strategic objectives.
You will drive the development and implementation of innovative reporting and analytics solutions that align closely with overarching business objectives and strategic initiatives. This includes providing strategic leadership in the end-to-end development of complex reporting and analytics solutions, leveraging extensive experience and expertise to deliver high-impact outcomes.
A key part of this role involves developing and executing comprehensive strategies to enhance the overall data literacy and analytical capabilities of the team, fostering a pervasive data-informed culture throughout the organization. You will provide strategic mentorship and coaching to senior supervisors, leaders, managers, and process engineers, elevating their analytical capabilities and driving data-driven decision-making across diverse manufacturing sites. You will also champion the establishment and dissemination of advanced best practices and standards for leveraging Power BI, ensuring consistent adoption of industry-leading methodologies.
You will undertake the rigorous testing and publication of complex reports to Power BI Service, ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality, actionable insights to stakeholders. Additionally, you will lead proactive research and self-education efforts on emerging technologies and trends within Business Intelligence, assessing new technologies and advocating for their adoption and integration to enhance data analytics capabilities.
What You'll Bring
You will possess postsecondary education in Business Intelligence, Business Analytics, Data Science and Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, or a similar field of study. PL-300 Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Certification is preferred.
You will bring 7+ years of Business Intelligence experience, including designing and implementing reporting solutions in various BI tools such as Excel, Power BI, Cognos, or Jupyter Notebook. This experience also includes querying SQL/NoSQL databases/data warehouses, designing, developing, and communicating KPIs to business stakeholders, and creating mockups and prototypes to facilitate report design. You should also have experience teaching others how to effectively build scalable, sustainable, and easy-to-maintain reporting solutions.
Additionally, you will have 7+ years of Microsoft Power Platform experience, specifically in developing and publishing reports and dashboards in Power BI, developing data models in Power BI, developing Power Automate Flows, developing Power Apps, and administrating Power BI Service and Workspaces.
Your background will include 7+ years of solution design experience, encompassing communicating complex technical solutions to business stakeholders, performing stakeholder analysis as part of Systems Analysis and Design, and soliciting requirements from stakeholders at all leadership levels. You will have experience implementing Design Thinking and Agile methodologies to improve solution adoption, monitoring and collecting usage statistics on implemented solutions, and acting as an influencer and evangelist for data-informed decision-making.
You are fluent in Power BI, Power Query and DAX, Excel, querying relational databases/data warehouses (T-SQL), and Microsoft Office Suite. Competence in Python for data analysis (NumPy/pandas) is also required. You should also be proficient in Design Thinking and Agile methodologies, project management, and delivering on multiple initiatives, alongside effective change management and conflict resolution skills.
