Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Current Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• BCLS certification at time of hire
• Demonstrated leadership ability
• Multi-patient medication administration
• Ability to work independently
• One year nursing experience in Long Term Care setting
• Caring and compassionate attitude towards patients and their families
• Good team player
• Computer skills/RUGS III data entry an asset
• Evidence of dedication to continuing education
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
• Keen desire to work with the elderly
• Satisfactory employment and attendance record
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position
