This role focuses on enhancing the Group Benefits customer experience by accurately setting up and revising group plans across various systems. As a Member Enrolment/OASIS Setup Specialist, you will manage the setup of the Member Enrolment Site, conduct testing, and provide technical support to clients. A significant portion of your time will involve project management to ensure the precise and timely implementation of new Member Enrolment and annual re-enrolments for existing clients.
You will process new business and revisions efficiently, adhering to established service standards for accuracy and timeliness. This includes responding to inquiries from both customers and internal business partners.
You will negotiate internally and externally to ensure Sun Life can accurately administer benefit programmes. Your role involves understanding and analysing customer needs to recommend optimal system setups. You will partner with various staff members to clarify plan designs, ensuring efficient and accurate system configuration.
Furthermore, you will serve as a subject matter expert for Member Enrolment and/or GBTA on various projects and initiatives. This includes conducting Business Acceptance testing for system enhancements related to Member Enrolment.
You possess proven skills in customer service delivery, analytical thinking, organisation, and are a self-starter. Strong negotiation skills are essential, enabling you to work towards acceptable outcomes and offer effective solutions. You can multi-task to meet delivery dates, demonstrating effective issue resolution skills and meticulous attention to detail.
In-depth knowledge of Group benefits and the Group Division Structure, along with an understanding of Group Client Services procedures and available services, is crucial. You also have a comprehensive understanding of plan administration systems and their interdependencies. You thrive in a team setting but are also capable of working independently, backed by superior verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to engage effectively with customers.
For this position in Quebec, bilingualism in French and English, both oral and written, is required for frequent interactions with colleagues and internal partners across Canada and worldwide.
Ideally, you have a minimum of two years of post-secondary education combined with at least three years of directly related business experience. Strong knowledge of Group systems and web applications, proficiency with data management tools such as Excel, Access, and MS Project, and a proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating volumes and schedules are highly valued. A positive attitude, strong team player mentality, excellent organisational and time-management skills, a strong sense of initiative, and the ability to think innovatively are also assets.
