Position Summary
This Physiotherapist role at Halton Healthcare in Halton Hills, ON, focuses on the WSIB Specialty Program. Day-to-Day
In this dynamic Physiotherapist role, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Treating a variety of musculoskeletal injuries.
- Implementing excellent assessment and treatment skills across geriatrics, neurology, and orthopaedics.
- Participating in promotional activities and community education.
- Contributing to program development and accreditation standards.
- Supporting the development, growth, and day-to-day operations of the WSIB Specialty Program.
- Providing interdisciplinary assessment, diagnostic, and rehabilitation services to injured workers.

Qualifications and skills required for this position include:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution required.
- Current Registration and in good standing, with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario required with evidence of insurance coverage.
- Ability to motivate, be sympathetic, yet positive and client-centred in all interactions with patients.
- Thorough understanding of confidentiality and patient dignity.
- Demonstrated self-directed carry-through of patient care activities.
- Initiative, good problem-solving, and communication skills are necessary.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to effectively interact with a multi-disciplinary team.
- Strong organizational abilities with efficient time management skills.
- Flexibility to follow direction and work collaboratively with all team members.
- Satisfactory employment and attendance record required.
- Experience working in a healthcare setting would be an asset.
- Experience working in a private physiotherapy clinic would be an asset.
- Relevant experience in treating a variety of MSK/Neuro conditions in an ambulatory care setting, return to work planning, functional evaluation, work conditioning, and return to work strategies an asset.
