About the Role
The City of Saskatoon is seeking a temporary full-time Parks Technician 9 for approximately 24 months. This position includes a layoff period from mid-October to mid-April. Under the supervision of a Parks Technician 14, this role involves a variety of routine to semi-skilled horticultural and turf maintenance activities. The successful candidate will take on a working supervisory role in constructing planting beds, performing spring and fall maintenance, installing plant material, pruning, fertilising, watering, and controlling weeds. This position also assists in monitoring the health and condition of turf and horticultural plantings.
