About the Role

Your Responsibilities
You will efficiently pick and assemble orders from various temperature areas with great care and quality in mind, ensuring on-time delivery to customers. This includes packing orders with attention to detail, distinguishing between similar named products, verifying exact quantities, and checking correct product codes.
Ensuring products picked are of the highest quality, such as no damaged items and the freshest selection, is crucial. You will correctly document and label all orders by interpreting and understanding documentation like pick slips, packaging details, and shipping labels. Optimising tote fill by packing orders in a space-efficient manner while maintaining product quality standards is also expected.
You will balance fulfilment responsibilities with customer interaction, offering service and supporting issues to resolution. Strict adherence to safety and food hygiene standards is required, including maintaining a clean work area, immediately cleaning spills, and ensuring all totes are clean before packing. Operating material handling equipment safely and completing all pre-inspection checks before use are essential. You will also exhibit behaviours that support the organisation’s mission and core values.
Participation in continuous improvement initiatives is encouraged, by suggesting changes related to operational procedures, productivity standards, customer satisfaction, safety, working conditions, and quality standards. You will demonstrate flexibility in completing and adjusting to work assignments based on customer requests and daily delivery schedules.
