About the Role
As a Food and Consumables Associate, you will provide exemplary customer service while upholding Walmart's basic beliefs and values. This role involves maintaining and zoning the food and consumables area, assisting with stocking, and facilitating the sale of goods.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for zoning the department to ensure product shelves, tables, and bunkers are organized, and that all products are in their correct locations. A key duty includes rotating stock and diligently checking for expired products to maintain freshness and quality. You will also ensure merchandise is properly signed and priced. Adherence to strict standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates is crucial. Furthermore, you will follow proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, and accurate signing, flagging, pricing, and labelling.
Requirements
