This part-time temporary position is for a Licensed Practical Nurse at Parkland Place in Melfort, SK, within the Chronic Resident Unit.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will promote health and healing and provide education as a valued member of the healthcare team. Your goal will be to achieve optimum care for clients, patients, and residents across all phases of healthcare.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess a Practical Nursing diploma. Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is required, and applicants must be registered or eligible for registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Saskatchewan (CLPNS).

Essential competencies include strong interpersonal, leadership, organisational, and communication skills, along with basic computer proficiency. The ability to work independently and collaboratively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team is crucial. A valid driver's licence may be required in some instances.

Work Details

This is a part-time temporary position with an expected start date of June 29, 2026, and an expected end date of June 7, 2027. The role offers shifts on days, nights, and weekends, with approximately 43.68 hours per 3-week rotation.

The salary is within Pay Band 16, ranging from $36.160 to $38.720 per hour. There is no travel required for this role. May be eligible for recruitment and/or retention incentives.
