About the Opportunity

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse for a part-time, temporary position in Melfort, Saskatchewan. This role is at Parkland Place within the Chronic Resident Unit, working days, nights, and weekends, with extended shifts of 11.78 hours. The expected start date for this position is August 1, 2026, and it is anticipated to conclude by September 1, 2027.

Your Responsibilities

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will promote health and healing and provide essential education as a valued member of the healthcare team. Your goal will be to achieve optimum care for clients, patients, and residents across all phases of healthcare.

What You'll Need

Applicants must possess a Practical Nursing diploma. You must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), registered or eligible for registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Saskatchewan (CLPNS). Key competencies include basic computer skills, strong organizational, interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.

The ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team is essential. A valid driver's licence may be required for this position.

Compensation & Workplace

This position offers a pay band of $36.160 to $38.720 per hour, based on a three-step range. Successful candidates may be eligible for recruitment and/or retention incentives.
