Your Responsibilities
As the District Manager, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening customer relationships by engaging key accounts and ensuring the delivery of exceptional service. You will lead and inspire your team, attracting and retaining top talent through coaching, training, and facilitating opportunities for career growth. A core part of your role involves driving business growth by leading the sales team, developing robust sales strategies, establishing clear targets, measuring performance, and motivating your team to consistently meet and exceed objectives.
You will also oversee all operational aspects, leading the operations team to maintain high operational standards, control costs, and enhance productivity and efficiency across all departments. This includes managing outbound logistics and fleet operations, focusing on asset utilisation and maintenance. You will be responsible for overseeing branch inventory levels and implementing shrink control initiatives. Furthermore, you will champion a strong safety culture in the workplace, ensuring full compliance with all internal safety programs and regulatory requirements.
What You'll Bring
You possess a minimum of seven years of leadership experience, with previous business-to-business management experience considered a valuable asset. Your strong sales and business acumen are evidenced by a proven track record of driving business growth. You are a self-driven learner with the ability to successfully lead change within a dynamic environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, alongside strong customer service and relationship management abilities. Ideally, you hold an undergraduate degree in business or a related field, or possess equivalent experience.
