About the Opportunity
This is a part-time temporary Administrative Officer position with the Saskatchewan Health Authority, based at the Melfort Public Health Office in Melfort, Saskatchewan.
The role is unionised with SGEU and involves working days, 56 hours per three-week rotation, with an expected start date of July 02, 2026, and an expected end date of February 03, 2028.
The salary for this position is Pay Band 11, ranging from $22.60 to $24.21 per hour.
Your Responsibilities
As an Administrative Officer, you will provide essential administrative support and coordination for a department, program, or facility.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all administrative procedures are consistently maintained.
A key part of your role will involve offering guidance, instruction, and advice to department, program, and facility staff regarding administrative procedures and requirements.
What You'll Bring
Candidates must possess an Office Administration certificate and have a minimum of two years of related office experience.
Essential competencies include strong organisational skills, intermediate computer proficiency, intermediate keyboarding skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and effective communication skills.
Leadership skills and basic accounting skills are also required.
Additionally, you should have basic medical terminology knowledge and the ability to work independently.
