As an Automotive Account Executive with Google in Toronto, you will serve as a pivotal growth architect for some of Canada's most significant and intricate organizations. Operating with a relentlessly customer-centric mindset, this position requires collaborative engagement across various teams to foster partners' profitable growth and secure Google media revenue. You will expertly leverage data and extensive industry insights to anticipate market shifts, proactively address complex business challenges, and provide clients with a distinct advantage. A core aspect of this role involves building and nurturing trusted, productive relationships at the C-level and throughout their entire marketing ecosystem, including key media and creative agencies, serving as a strategic consultant. You will design and execute highly tailored plans that align with customer business outcomes, skillfully managing the complexities of OEM, regional, and local dealer relationships. Leading joint business planning, annual strategic alignment, and complex negotiations will cement Google’s role as the growth engine for their business. Managing a robust sales pipeline, providing timely and accurate forecasts of sales performance, and proactively identifying new opportunities for transformative growth are also key responsibilities. This experience is vital for success.
To be successful in this Google sales role, candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of eight years of industry experience in sales, digital advertising, business development, or digital marketing is required, or six years of experience with an advanced degree. Preferred qualifications include experience with performance media, encompassing measurement, attribution, optimization, and new business line development, alongside knowledge of digital tactics for search and performance. Prior experience in business development, customer relationships, and consultation within the media industry is highly valued. Additionally, experience managing a book of business, a sales pipeline, or collaborating with customer stakeholders is preferred. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate excellent customer service, communication, presentation, investigative, and creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to articulate how growth hacking can deliver significant business growth.
