This permanent full-time Physiotherapist role at University Health Network (UHN) is an integral part of the Physiotherapy service within Allied Health, primarily based at Toronto General Hospital. The successful candidate will enhance the quality of life for patients by planning and implementing individually designed programs of physical treatment to maintain, improve, or restore physical functioning and cardio-respiratory health, alleviate pain, and prevent physical dysfunction. This position involves providing backfill and floating among all patient care units across Toronto General and Princess Margaret Hospitals, offering diverse experience in acute care.
The role demands strong clinical care skills, including consultation, assessment, treatment planning, and evaluation of client-specific treatment programs. Furthermore, the Physiotherapist will be involved in educating clients and staff, contributing to continuing education initiatives, and performing other duties consistent with the job classification.
