The Department of Pharmacology offers one of North America's most comprehensive undergraduate programs. We distinguish ourselves by providing students with hands-on research experience through dedicated laboratory courses and specialized projects available in both the third and fourth years.
The Department of Pharmacology invites applications for a full-time, one-year renewable ATS position offering an exciting opportunity to teach undergraduate students across all levels of pharmacology education. With a teaching load equivalent to six courses per year, this role is ideal for candidates with a Ph.D. specializing in cardiovascular and cancer pharmacology who are passionate about innovative teaching, current advances in pharmacology research, and student engagement.
Teach all levels of undergraduate students in didactic classes
Lead discussion-based courses at the 4th year level
Position includes additional duties related to course coordination, curriculum revision and development
Potential for time devoted to research and supervision of undergraduate students participating in our experiential laboratory techniques / capstone research project courses
Ph.D. degree with a focus in cardiovascular and cancer pharmacology
Focus in cardiovascular and cancer pharmacology
Extensive experience/knowledge in the latest advancements in pharmacology research
Must be able to teach all levels of undergraduate students in didactic classes as well as lead discussion-based courses at the 4th year level
