As a Wellness & Benefits Consultant in Toronto, Ontario, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and delivering impactful wellness-focused content across internal communication channels. Your work will directly align with Canadian Tire's organisational well-being objectives, creating engaging materials such as presentations and digital resources.
You will collaborate with internal partners to create and execute wellness initiatives, campaigns, and events. This role involves maintaining time and absence policies, ensuring they align with HR standards, compliance requirements, and best practices. You will also gain a thorough understanding of all employee benefits, retirement savings, and wellness programs, acting as a tier two support for related inquiries.
Key responsibilities include supporting the administration of various employee benefit programs, such as the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), employee discount programs, and wellness challenges. Additionally, you will contribute to Human Resources initiatives that strengthen culture, well-being, and employee satisfaction, assisting with annual benefits cycles like open enrolment and vendor coordination.
Your Skills and Experience
We are seeking a candidate with post-secondary education in Human Resources or Business Administration. Ideally, you will bring three to four years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on wellness programming, benefits administration, or a related field.
You possess exceptional communication skills, enabling effective collaboration across multiple teams and diverse employee populations. Your ability to navigate organisations easily, coupled with strong organisational skills and attention to detail, allows you to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
