About the Role

As a Staff Pharmacist at Walmart in Fort Erie, Ontario, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Pharmacy Manager across all aspects of pharmacy operations. This position focuses on delivering exceptional patient care, tailored to individual needs through consultations and file reviews, ensuring a positive experience for every patient.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the accurate, efficient, and safe processing of prescriptions and refill requests from patients, doctors, or hospitals, adhering to established workflow models. A key part of your role involves counselling patients on pharmaceutical products and ensuring the proper storage of all medications.

Additionally, you will ensure patients receive all eligible services, such as medication reviews and injections, while strictly protecting patient privacy and complying with all provincial regulations. Operating all pharmacy equipment, including the register and computer system, is also a daily task.

Your duties will also include ensuring the pharmacy operates during posted business hours, executing processes according to Walmart's best practices and Standard Operating Procedures, and collaborating with the Pharmacy Manager to achieve corporate business goals. Developing strong working relationships with the Professional Services District Manager and other stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications
