As a Sr. Content Designer at Rogers, you will join a dedicated Technology team focused on connecting Canadians. Responsibilities
In this dynamic role, your contributions will span several key areas, driving the creation and optimization of engaging digital experiences for millions of Canadians.
- Craft and implement engaging, user-first digital content that aligns with Rogers’ business objectives and brand guidelines.
- Design and produce content for a variety of platforms, including websites, mobile apps, chatbots, and internal applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, UX, product, analytics) to develop content that supports user journeys and enhances customer experiences.
- Grow the Digital Content practice through the development of guidelines, libraries, and content patterns.
- Write, edit, and optimize content for clarity, consistency, and accessibility.
- Ensure all content is SEO-friendly, accessible (AODA-compliant), and aligned with UX best practices.
- Support personalization efforts by working with the Personalization and Optimization team to create content variations for A/B testing, multivariate testing, and content experiments.
- Use analytics insights and data-driven recommendations to continuously improve content relevance, engagement, and conversion rates.
- Manage content production timelines, ensuring content is delivered on time and to a high standard of quality.
- Coordinate with external partners, including design agencies and freelancers, to scale content production as needed.
- Maintain content calendars and schedules to ensure timely delivery for digital campaigns, product launches, and ongoing updates.
- Use tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and content management system (CMS) dashboards to track content performance and engagement.
- Create performance reports and present actionable insights to stakeholders, offering recommendations for content improvements.
- Stay up to date on digital content trends, emerging platforms, and industry best practices.
- Test new content formats, interactive experiences, and visual storytelling methods to ensure Rogers’ content remains fresh, relevant, and impactful.
What you'll bring
To excel in this Sr. Content Designer role, you will possess a blend of technical proficiency, creative talent, and collaborative spirit, enabling you to deliver exceptional digital content experiences.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and work management tools (Jira, Trello, Asana, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) to measure and optimize content performance.
- Experience with design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar) to collaborate with UX designers on visual content development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Design, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a digital content designer, content strategist, UX writer, or similar role.
- Experience in the retail and telecommunications industry is an asset, with an understanding of eCommerce and service journey analytics considered a bonus.
- Proven ability to create content that is clear, engaging, and on-brand across multiple digital platforms.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and accessibility standards (AODA compliance).
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills with a passion for delivering excellent user experiences.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
