job description
About the role
The Technology team at Rogers wakes up every day with one goal in mind: connecting Canadians to the people and things that matter most. Together, they proudly support 30 million Canadians each month through managing a robust portfolio that champions leading-edge technology. They drive large-scale, complex, and high-visibility technology projects and programs that shape the future of technology in Canada and expand connectivity from coast to coast.
As a senior member of the Service Monitoring Systems team in Montreal, you will be responsible for the planning, design, deployment, and operational support of advanced monitoring solutions across wireless and wireline technologies. You will serve as a technical expert in network visibility, device management, and monitoring, helping ensure that platforms provide reliable insights into network performance, service quality, configuration change, and incidents.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external technology partners, such as OpenText, Netscout, Gigamon, Cisco, RCATSOne, Commscope, and Witbe, to integrate and optimize scalable, high-performance monitoring systems that enhance network visibility, performance optimization, operational automation, and incident resolution. Although this is not primarily a software development role, you will use scripting, automation, APIs, and targeted code modifications to improve integrations, streamline operations, and address technical requirements.
