In this Senior Delivery Lead position, you will be instrumental in maximizing the efficiency and overall performance of our dedicated Engineering teams. A core aspect of your role will involve establishing robust processes and frameworks to create and maintain a comprehensive portfolio view of all in-flight and upcoming projects and programs. You will serve as an Execution Lead, guiding your squad to achieve successful delivery of strategic priorities. Collaborating closely with other Senior Delivery Leads, Project Managers, and Program Managers, you will maintain a complete high-level delivery roadmap view across the entire portfolio. This role requires you to establish standards for tracking project milestones and budgets, providing standardized, regular executive reporting on the status of all ongoing projects and programs, alongside team-wide operational metrics for each sprint and a long-term perspective. Furthermore, you will lead SteerCos and coordinate complex engineering programs and initiatives that involve cross-functional teams throughout Scotiabank, actively identifying and resolving roadmap dependencies and impediments. Building and maintaining strong professional relationships across various Scotiabank departments, including EDO, Product Management, Finance, and Operations, is also vital for successful technology delivery.

To excel in this challenging Senior Delivery Lead role at Scotiabank, candidates must possess a proven track record of managing and delivering complex software projects, ideally with 10-15 years of relevant experience. A Bachelor's Degree or higher in computer engineering, information sciences, business, or a related field is essential. Demonstrating strong knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies is critical for successful IT projects delivery. Ideally, candidates will hold certifications such as PMI PMP and Certified Scrum Master (CSM/PSM), showcasing their deep understanding of project management practices, disciplines, tools, and methodologies. Experience with (or knowledge of) Tokenization platforms or patterns development and delivery is considered a valuable asset. Proficiency with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and the Office Suite, combined with strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills, will enable rapid assessment of complex situations. The ability to demonstrate creativity and adaptability in identifying solutions, alongside experience in leading through influence and successfully delivering cross-functional initiatives, is paramount. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, enabling effective communication from deep technical discussions to high-level executive vision.
