In this dynamic position, your primary focus will be to provide tailor-made financial planning advice, utilizing RBC’s unparalleled array of investment, credit, and everyday banking solutions to help clients reach their specific financial goals. You will actively maintain and strategically expand your portfolio of clients by employing value-based relationship management practices, consistently striving to achieve performance targets. A crucial aspect of your success will involve cultivating robust relationships with internal service partners and within local markets to optimize business opportunities and generate valuable referrals. This collaborative approach ensures that clients receive holistic support across all facets of their financial lives, reinforcing RBC's reputation for comprehensive and client-centric service.

To succeed in this challenging yet rewarding role, candidates must possess a Financial Planning Designation (IPF) or be actively in the process of completing it, alongside a Mutual Funds License (IFIC or CSC). A minimum of three years’ experience in financial planning is essential, coupled with a proven track record in networking and client acquisition, and the ability to develop a strong referral network.
