Canadian Natural Resources is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our dynamic HR Campus Recruitment team in Calgary, Alberta. This pivotal Campus Administrator role offers a unique opportunity to provide essential administrative support within a high-volume, fast-paced environment, directly contributing to the success of our campus recruitment initiatives. As a key member of the team, you will play an integral part in delivering a seamless candidate and stakeholder experience, working alongside experienced Campus Advisor professionals. This position is a 15-month temporary assignment, focusing on critical coordination and comprehensive administrative support across the full Campus program, representing Canadian Natural with professionalism in all internal and external interactions. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong commitment to operational excellence and a desire to enhance the recruitment experience for future talent.
In this vital administrative support capacity, the Campus Administrator will execute a full range of duties to bolster the Campus team's objectives. Responsibilities include providing extensive administrative support for full-cycle recruitment activities, from initial resume pre-screening and interview coordination to scheduling, offer preparation, and comprehensive onboarding documentation. You will be instrumental in building and maintaining effective working relationships with Campus advisors and various HR partners, ensuring all processes run smoothly. A key accountability involves reviewing new hire submissions for accuracy and completeness, coordinating with internal teams and external providers to meet all requirements for new hire start dates. Furthermore, this role requires managing high volumes of confidential information while supporting candidates, responding to their inquiries, and routing requests appropriately. The successful administrator will also be responsible for maintaining confidential files, records, and HR databases, alongside supporting various HR administrative tasks and special projects as required.
To excel in this Campus Administrator position, candidates should possess post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field, complemented by a minimum of two years of experience in recruitment and selection. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is essential for daily operations. Demonstrable experience working within an applicant tracking system is critical, with a strong preference for Oracle Cloud Recruiting experience, which will be highly valued in this Oracle HCM environment. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong organisational and time management skills, coupled with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, work under pressure, and consistently meet deadlines in a demanding and fast-paced setting. This administrative role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of delivering exceptional support and contributing positively to the overall candidate experience.
