As a Blue Yonder Specialist at LCBO in Toronto, you will support Blue Yonder software to optimize merchandising, category management, and space planning processes. Reporting to the Platform Owner, Business Platforms, you will ensure the effective implementation, configuration, and utilization of Blue Yonder solutions.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business needs with technology capabilities, ensuring seamless integration and adoption of Blue Yonder tools. This specialist role involves partnering with merchandising, supply chain, and store operations teams to ensure technology capabilities align with business requirements.
This position is onsite, ideal for someone passionate about ensuring the effective use of Blue Yonder platforms through system configuration, data integration, and technical expertise.
What You'll Do
You will configure and implement Blue Yonder solutions for merchandising, category management, and space planning. This includes collaborating with IT and business teams to ensure seamless integration of Blue Yonder with other enterprise systems such as SAP, Manhattan Associates, MuleSoft, GK Software, and Pega CDH.
Your responsibilities will involve conducting system testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization to ensure the software meets business requirements. You will also develop and maintain system documentation, including workflows, configurations, and user guides.
You will support merchandising and category management teams by configuring and maintaining Blue Yonder Category Management tools, ensuring data accuracy, system availability, and effective tool usage. This includes providing guidance on system capabilities, data interpretation, and best practices to help business users leverage Blue Yonder solutions effectively, and supporting the development of category plans and strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
Additionally, you will support Space Planning teams by configuring, maintaining, and supporting Blue Yonder Space Planning and Floor Planning tools, workflows, and integrations. This ensures space planning data, publishing processes, and system performance support downstream execution and store operations, working with store operations teams to implement and monitor space planning initiatives.
You will partner with Space Planning and Store Operations teams to support tool adoption, issue resolution, and continuous improvement of system usage. Furthermore, you will provide training and support to end-users on Blue Yonder tools and best practices, act as the IT subject matter expert for Blue Yonder platforms, and stay updated on Blue Yonder product updates and industry trends.
What You'll Bring
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related experience. You must have at least three years of experience working with Blue Yonder solutions, specifically in merchandising, category management, and space planning, along with proven experience in implementing and optimizing enterprise software solutions.
A strong understanding of retail operations, inventory management, and category planning is essential, as is experience working on large-scale transformation projects. Desired certifications include Blue Yonder certification in Merchandising, Category Management, or Space Planning, and Project Management Professional (PMP) or a similar certification.
Proficiency in Blue Yonder Category Management (CatMan) software and related tools is required. Familiarity with external Blue Yonder integrations, preferably with MuleSoft, and other enterprise software such as SAP, Manhattan Associates, and Microsoft tools is also beneficial. Advanced data analysis skills using tools like Power BI or Tableau, along with knowledge of Agile product methodologies, are highly valued.
