About the Opportunity
This role is for a Banking Centre Leader at CIBC in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. CIBC is building a relationship-oriented bank and seeks talented professionals dedicated to doing what is right for their clients. As a Banking Centre Leader, you will lead a team of high-performing financial services professionals focused on delivering an exceptional client experience. This includes hiring, developing, and coaching your team, inspiring them to perform at their best. Team members are empowered to make a meaningful impact and are truly valued for their contributions.
The position requires full-time, on-site work and flexibility to work banking centre hours, which may include evenings and weekends. You will also need to be flexible to work at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance to help deliver a great client experience.
Your Responsibilities
You will lead by example, showing your team how to deepen client relationships and meet client financial needs while providing a high standard of service. This involves advocating for CIBC within the community to develop new and existing client relationships, and encouraging employees to quickly resolve client complaints, escalating when necessary.
You will foster a culture of teamwork, ensuring clients are served by those best able to meet their financial needs. Monitoring the Banking Centre’s business performance and implementing action plans to close any gaps will be key. You will work as one team with all partners to maximise market opportunities and increase the Banking Centre’s overall performance, while also managing and minimising risk to safeguard the bank, clients, and shareholders.
As a people leader, you will coach a high-performing team of Leaders, Advisors, and Representatives to deepen client relationships and deliver the right kind of growth. You will provide meaningful development opportunities for employees and advocate for CIBC within the community to recruit employees who share and demonstrate the company's values.

You are a certified professional with current accreditation and good standing in a Mutual Funds License, such as the Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds In Canada. It is considered an asset if you have completed any of the following: Branch Compliance Officer’s Course (BCO), Branch Managers Examination Course (BME), Conducts & Practices Handbook (CPH) Wealth Management Essentials (WME), or Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
