As a Financial Advisor, you will serve as a single point of contact, delivering on CIBC’s Imperial Service approach. You will build and grow a dedicated client portfolio through exceptional relationship management and comprehensive financial services support. Your primary focus will be on each client experience, connecting on a personal level to make every interaction meaningful. This involves providing tailored financial advice and solutions across all areas of financial planning, including day-to-day banking, investments, lending, and estate planning. You will proactively cultivate your network, deeply understand the local market, and create sales plans to convert leads into new clients. By leveraging CIBC’s wide range of credit and investment solutions, you will provide a needs-based approach that ensures satisfied, loyal clients and generates increased referrals. The ability to make lasting connections and help clients secure their futures, own homes, and set up businesses is central to this role.
To succeed in this role, you must be a certified professional (CIRO-MFD) with 1-3 years of experience in providing financial advice to clients and establishing relationships while achieving performance targets. Essential qualifications include current accreditation and good standing in The Canadian Securities Course (CSC), Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC), or Investment Funds in Canada Course (IFC), meeting eligibility requirements for CIRO-MFD licensing.
