Role overview

The Canadian DoorDash Growth & Consumer team focuses on making DoorDash a more valuable and accessible part of consumers’ everyday lives. We identify opportunities to grow the business by improving affordability, strengthening the consumer experience, and solving marketplace challenges across consumers, merchants, and Dashers. Our team partners across Restaurants, New Verticals, Legal, Product, Finance, and Operations to develop strategies that support sustainable growth across Canada.

The Associate Manager role is for a self-motivated, curious, and ownership-minded individual who approaches problems through a customer-first lens. You will use data and market insights to identify growth opportunities, develop strategies, and drive cross-functional execution. Your scope may include pricing and affordability, market-specific growth, consumer engagement and retention, and other high-priority strategic initiatives. Success will be measured by your ability to translate ambiguous problems into clear plans and deliver measurable business and customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Pricing & Affordability: Develop strategies across pricing, fees, promotions, and other value levers that balance customer affordability, growth, and sustainable economics.
• Analysis & Reporting: Analyze performance, build reporting and financial models, identify key trends, and translate insights into clear recommendations for leadership and XFN partners.
• Market Growth & Initiatives: Identify market-specific opportunities and lead high-impact growth initiatives from strategy and experimentation through execution and measurement.
• Big Bets & Innovation: Identify emerging opportunities, test new ideas, and build scalable solutions that can unlock new sources of customer and business growth.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Merchant, Dasher, Product, Finance, Analytics, and other teams to align priorities, remove blockers, and deliver measurable outcomes.

• You have 4+ years of experience in strategy, operations, product, growth, analytics, investment banking, consulting, or a related field.
