As an Associate, Cash Management, you will join this team to support account teams through client acquisition, relationship management, and transactional support for client-specific financing solutions.
This is a development role designed to equip you with the knowledge of products, processes, networks, and functions necessary to progress to a Manager position. You will act as a key interface to internal partners, facilitating initial product installation and ongoing troubleshooting. Your role involves applying product and client knowledge to develop proposals, ideas, and solutions that proactively meet clients’ needs, primarily supporting managers in business development and maintaining existing customer relationships. To succeed in this role, you will excel at relationship building, making an impact through marketing and outreach activities, and providing continued partnership by understanding client goals. You will support managers in developing new client relationships through business development activities, leveraging referral sources, existing clients, and centres of influence, while identifying potential sales or service improvement opportunities. Teamwork is crucial as you collaborate with your team and internal partners to connect clients with opportunities and provide guidance on treasury best practices and cash management solutions.
You will deliver solutions by proactively assessing clients’ cash management needs, conducting financial statement reviews, and assisting managers in proposing solutions. This also includes assessing assigned accounts in the pre/post sales cycle, providing relevant data to support account reviews and pricing negotiations, and conducting industry and client research for proposals and strategies. You are passionate about people, finding meaning in relationships and connecting with others through respect and authenticity. You give meaning to data, investigating complex problems and communicating detailed information effectively.
You will demonstrate experience in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to evaluate financial information, and possess well-developed organisational skills to manage evolving priorities, alongside an aptitude for business development (sales) skills. You are goal-oriented, motivated by achieving your objectives and delivering your best. You hold a degree or diploma in Commerce or Business Administration with knowledge of cash management products and service offerings. You embrace and advocate for change, continuously evolving your thinking and work methods. Finally, values matter to you, and you embody trust, teamwork, and accountability.
