Key duties

As an Academic Movement Disorders Neurologist, your responsibilities will encompass a blend of clinical service, teaching, and research. This role is integral to the Division of Neurology's mission within the University of Toronto's Department of Medicine.

• Hold a full-time clinical academic appointment at the University of Toronto.
• Provide clinical service focusing on movement disorders within the Division of Neurology, Krembil Brain Institute, including on-call, inpatient, and ambulatory care.
• Engage in teaching activities as per Division of Neurology requirements.
• Conduct research with a primary focus on movement disorders.

• Hold an MD degree or equivalent.

• For consideration as a Clinician Investigator, specific additional training such as a Master’s degree or equivalent is required.
• Demonstrate scholarly excellence through research grants, publications in leading journals, invited presentations at significant conferences, awards, accolades, and other related accomplishments.

Compensation and perks

• Salary in the range of $290,000-295,000 CAD per year, dependent on clinical work.
