Your Impact and Expertise

In this significant role, you will lead the development of project scopes, schedules, and budgets for critical water quality and environmental assessment work. Your responsibilities will include directing integrated project delivery, ensuring seamless alignment across various aquatic disciplines such as hydrology, geochemistry, and aquatic health. You will oversee the design and execution of comprehensive field programs, encompassing baseline studies, construction monitoring, and detailed environmental effects monitoring. A key aspect of your contribution will be to analyze and interpret complex water and sediment quality datasets, ensuring rigorous quality control and defensible outcomes for all projects. Representing projects as a subject matter expert in regulatory reviews, hearings, and stakeholder engagements will be essential. Furthermore, you will build and strengthen client relationships while actively supporting business development and strategic growth initiatives for WSP. Mentoring and developing junior and intermediate staff, fostering technical capability and consulting excellence, is also a core expectation. Candidates should possess a degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources, or a related field, with a Master of Science or higher preferred. A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in water quality and environmental assessment is required, alongside proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering high-quality work in a consulting environment.
