As a SaaS Account Executive with Intertek Alchemy, your primary objective will be to generate new business, driving sales of cutting-edge quality and safety solutions. This pivotal account executive role requires an innovative and strategic approach to consistently meet sales quotas, building a robust pipeline through proactive outbound prospecting and efficient management of inbound leads. You will manage all technical aspects of the sales process, including conducting product demonstrations, performing needs assessments, and articulating the unique value propositions of Intertek Alchemy's offerings to mid and c-level decision makers. This includes responding to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs with precision and expertise. The successful candidate will be adept at developing and qualifying deals, generating high-quality leads, and managing deal closures, often involving cold calling, collaboration with the marketing team, and cultivating existing relationships. Ensuring 100% customer satisfaction is paramount, alongside maintaining professional internal and external relationships that align with Intertek's core values and culture. To excel as a SaaS Account Executive, candidates must possess a minimum of four years of outside sales experience, specifically selling enterprise SaaS products, coupled with proven success in penetrating new markets and closing new business. Experience selling into the manufacturing sector is essential, alongside a BA/BS degree. Consistent over-achievement of sales quotas is a key indicator of success for this account executive position.
